Der Hellste Schatten

The Brightest Shade

Youngju Yim | Seungjoo Lee | Sooyoung Han

2 July – 22 August 2026

Vernissage: 2 July 18:00

As the height of summer approaches, our 5th exhibition, Der hellste Schatten (The Brightest Shade), turns away from the blinding July sun to explore what lingers in the quiet internal shade. Bringing together Youngju Yim, Seungjoo Lee, and Sooyoung Han, the exhibition delves into the subtle, overlooked layers of memory, everyday surroundings, and emotion.

From Yim’s fluid, haunting afterimages of urban strangers to Lee’s pale, sun-bleached fragments of domestic life, and Han’s deeply layered, structured emotional landscapes, these three distinct voices reveal shade not as a void, but as a serene sanctuary for reflection.

Join us for the Vernissage on July 2nd at 18:00.

Our upcoming 4th exhibition, Resilience, brings together the distinct visual languages of South Korean artist Byeonghyeon Jeong and Tel Aviv-based Natalia Zourabova.

We are excited to announce our next exhibition, Two Rooms, opening in conjunction with the upcoming Charlottenwalk.

Two rooms, two distinct rhythms of existence.

Experience Seunghee Shin’s meditative "blue landscapes," where earth, gravity, and cobalt pigments flow in a state of 'Panta Rhei' (everything flows). In contrast, step into Christopher von Gruben’s raw "swirl of daze and color"—a powerful exploration of Berlin's night, capturing the escapism and hidden vulnerabilities of today’s youth.

Save the date to discover the powerful resonance between nature's gravity and the pulse of the city.

We are excited to announce our first exhibition of 2026.
Und was vorüber schien, beginnt | What seemed to be over begins again. Inspired by Erich Kästner’s poetry, our next exhibition presents a dialogue between Byungsun Song, Andrea Cataudella, and Seona Jeong.

Save the date to discover the beauty of what begins again.

Daecheon Lee / Rini Spiel

06 November - 10 January 2026
Wednesday - Saturday 14:00 - 18:00

Vernissage
06 November 18:00

We are delighted to announce the opening exhibition of iros.gallery. Join us for our first exhibition and celebrate a new beginning with us.

"Tide and Bloom" brings together the works of Daecheon Lee and Rini Spiel. Both artists explore the rhythm of existence—its constant ebb and flow, its fleeting yet blossoming moments. Their practices, while distinct in form and approach, converge in their search for resonance with the present. Lee’s abstract painterly investigations and Spiel’s bold layered floral narratives invite viewers into a space where movement, fragility, and renewal become palpable. This exhibition offers not only a dialogue between two artistic voices but also an invitation to reflect on the ways in which life continuously dissolves and regenerates, leaving traces of both tide and bloom.
